My Mk7 VW GTI – Part 4

July 11th, 2016 • Miami, Florida, USA

Just before Christmas, and right in time for Wekfest Florida, it was time to change up the look of the GTI once again. With Vossen previewing the Vossen Forged: LC Series a couple months earlier it was time to get the wheels out and on cars, so we pressed the factory to cut a variety of sets, such as the directional LC-106T fitted to the GTI.

After returning from Washington for the holidays and Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon, I made my way over to Fort Myers for Eurotripper in the GTI too, this time with my Kestrel 200SCi on the roof beside the Thule Flow 606 box, still sporting the Vossen Forged LC-106T wheels.

As I look back on this state of the GTI, I still love the combination of brushed face wheels on the brown wrap, but it wasn’t long before a new plan was in place.
